Writing test
Walt: Practising writing recounts
Wet the teacher
When I woke up this morning I didn’t think that I would ever get to throw wet freezing cold sponges at my teacher ever. I don’t think I ever thought of throw anything at my teacher ever before. Have you ever got to throw wet freezing cold sponges at your teacher before?
As school started Mr Goodwin told us that we were going to be doing a writing test and we were going to have a game later on. After that he told a girl named levonah to go and get a green bag with some weird stuff in it and weird yellow shoes she came back with a green bag and flippers yellow flippers. Then he told us to go and line up in two line where we line up for assembly. We walked and fast walked to the field and as we got to the field we all saw nine buckets filled with water and each bucket had a wet soaked sponges in it there were three green buckets and three blue buckets and three yellow buckets but as soon as I saw the buckets I knew what we were doing we were going to throw sponges at our teachers.
We were all told to make three lines behind the three green buckets quick but quietly by Mr Somerville and Mr Jacobsen
But sadly I did not get to finish this test.
Task Description:
We had a writing test and we had to write about drenching our teachers with soaking wet sponges. It was so a once in a life time experience

Rubbish clean up recount
Today I would have never expected this to happen. A recount and rubbish pick up. It’s ok because we are looking after our school/community. So for me it’s good and it’s bad at the same time because we are looking after our school/community and we had to write a recount.
In the beginning we had a chat with Mr Goodwin. He told us that we were going to write a recount, I thought didn’t want to write a recount. After Mr Goodwin had his chat he told us to go outside and line up. We lined up and headed to the to the reserve.
Once we got to the reserve Mr Goodwin told us to get into groups of 5 & 6. The people in my group were Lillyana, Inga, Me, Hope, Jeddia and Roshaan. The cold grass on my feet made my feet freeze and go numb.
There were about 5 teams ,once we got into teams. Mr Goodwin told us the rules, we also had boundaries. Boundaries were two poles if we went past the poles we were disqualified and if we got grass or bark in our rubbish bags we were also disqualified. My team went past the poles but we didn’t get disqualified, this was for us to clean up our school/community and for the recount. The reserve was so clean there was not much rubbish. So we moved around the reserve for a couple of rounds then we had two finale rounds they were in our school’s fields and parks.
After the rubbish picking up Miss Haare judged how much rubbish was in the bag and how much it looked. She found a really big piece of bark in my groups bag so we didn’t win if we won our prize would of been 10 mins ofl cool is cool maths games anytime of day. Toby and his group won, he is a boy in my class. I was sad and happy, because we did it for a good cause which was keeping our school/community clean, and sad because we didn’t win.
I would recommend this to people who want to clean up there school/community a bit more. I think that this experience was a good thing to do because it’s really important to help your school/community everyday. I hope you try this!

Amira Chicago Creative Writing
Walt: write using descriptive language.
It was a cold morning, and the streets of Chicago were quiet. No one had ventured out of their homes. Everyone was still in bed. Except for Mr Goodwin. He was late. Late for his conference!
As he ran down the street he dropped his pass to get into the conference once he was almost to the entrance of the conference he felt for his pass but he couldn’t find it. So he had to go back the way that he came to track down where he had dropped his pass. Halfway to the hotel he found it but it took him half an hour to find it. So the conference was halfway done. So Mr Goodwin ran as fast as he could and got back to the conference in just 3 minutes and got to the conference really early. Mr Goodwin had thought that he was late but actually he was one hour early so in that hour that he had before the conference. He went and had his very first deep dish pizza. It was delicious and then he headed to the conference.

Reviewing A Game
Walt: identify the main points in the text
One thing that i liked about shaft was how challenging it was.
Another thing i liked was the art style.
The last thing i liked was the movements .
One thing i would improve would be maybe add some hints.
One other thing maybe try to make it a bit easier in the start.
I would recommend this game to someone how likes problem solving kinda games but if you don’t like that kinda stuff i wouldn’t recommend it but if you want to try it.
