The Layers
WALT: Skim and scan to locate information in a text
Task Description: In this certain task description i'll be explaining the structure of the earth.
The earth has 4 layers. Which are: The Crust, The Mantle, The Outer Core and The Inner Core.
Some fun facts about each layer that I have are. An interesting fact about the crust of the earth is that the land that we humans and and animals walk or slither on is actually 3 times thicker then the seafloor. An interesting fact about the mantle is that it can be split into 2 different layers, The Outer Mantle and The Inner Mantle but what's even more interesting about the Mantle is that there are 3 different types of rock and other materials that make up The Mantle. An interesting fact about The Outer Core is that this layer is the only liquid layer and it's made up of only molten lava and finally the interesting fact about The Inner Core which is actually that The Inner Core has the highest temperature it's so hot it's the same temperate as the Sun's surface.
