Walt: Create a image that is related to The Fly
Task description: Above is my image for The Fly
Meaning: The meaning behind this image is from light to dark but well travelling though this you also experience The War, The Fly and The Ink-pot. Its called War
Image Selection:
I choose an image of a soldier, fly and inkwell. The soldier represents The Boss' son who dies in the war. The soldier is facing the fly and inkwell because he is the reason behind the fly's suffering. The fly is in the middle because it is the main event of the text. The reason behind the fly's suffering because of good and bad reasons; the fly would have died as it fell in the ink, but The Boss removed it, tortured it and eventually killed it. This was in response to his sons death. The fly's near death experiences were similar to the son who died in the war.
Colour Choice
The colours represent the darkness of the story, meaning depression and death. The light means happiness and hope, and life. The black colour also represents the ink because it was involved in the fly's suffering and because the boss needs it for his job.
Text Choice
I choose the word war because it is a central theme of the text although it is not discussed much. I put the word up above because it was very important, it is an overall struggle; there was so much struggle above all else in the war. The story is all about this struggle or conflict. The characters struggle with grief, with life, with the war. There is a war inside of The Boss's head. He has internal conflict, which drives the story.

Why Bees Have Stingers
It was another wonderful day on which Apollo had his first job of the day. Rise the sun, onto the mortal realm and Olympus but not the underworld because of Hades. He hates Apollo no one really knows why but he does. As Apollo raised the sun something came for the depths of space and hit the sun send shards of the hot sun everywhere. One hit an enormous tree and curiously made a portal too small to fit a human but big enough for a bee. The smallest bee in the hive decided that he wanted to go looking for some plant and mistakenly walked into the sun portal. What happened inside the portal no one knows except the bee but he had died a long time ago. Where he landed we only know the name its name is Olympus where gods and goddess live no human nor animals as the bee wondered the lands of Olympus he flew by a Hephaestus the blacksmith of all the gods Hephaestus dropped something and it landed on the bee whose name we do not know. As he furiously try to free himself from this poison arrow that not only killed animals and humans but gods as well. He punched himself forward but then impaling Apollo with the arrow head. The bee was sent free of the arrow head and set off back home but he did not know the chaos he had caused. Apollo fell to the shock of all the people around him. He was carried into the place of Zeus. To Zeus’s shock he saw what the bee had done and fell into an endless pit of anger. He shouted as loud as he could and said “ I curse those who have done this to my Apollo they must have stingers that kill them as soon as the sting someone” and so bees were cursed to have stingers for as long as they were to live for Apollo’s almost death he didn’t die but he was very close to dying.

Our museum trip
Walt: Write a recount on what you did on the trip last week
A couple days ago team 5 had a museum trip with some workers from K.P.M.G about 39 approximately. After a lot of minutes waiting, getting into groups and struggling to fit things into bags we left Pt England and boarded a bus to go to the museum. My group was called Group D from Room 5 it was made up of Tha Zin, Jedida, Zaeeda and me ( Amira ).
When we arrived we were assigned a supervisor either a teacher, teacher aid or K.P.M.G worker. My group got Mitchell a K.P.M.G worker I thought he was the quiet type of person well the rest of the group were girls very very loud girls including me. To be honest I felt sad for him because of how we treated him we listened just not a lot and we complained a lot as well and sometimes we spent a little too long on a few activities.
One of my favourite parts of going to the museum was getting to see the Germanen war and spitfires ( It’s a type of plane ) and other types of plane as well. I loved looking at the spitfire I don’t know why but I found it very interesting and Mitchell liked going thought the war exhibit I believe. All though it was our first activity and we were one of the last groups to be given a supervisor ( Mitchell ) so we only had about 01 minutes to get to look though the war exhibit it was great fun but no one else really wanted to stay where I wanted to stay so it went by really quick.
Another thing that I found really interesting and fun was the winter gardens. Because when we went to the winter gardens I loved looking around at the beautiful flowers there was also another building with more tropical flowers and it was a lot hotter in the second building all though there were two yellow goldfish but i’m still not sure if they were Koi fish or not. There also was a frenery for fern and a little track for you to walk on and a little pond with some fish in it. But my favourite part about the Winter Gardens was a little area with a large hallway with a couple statues leading out to a balcony area. I sat on the little brick wall that was meant to be a rail but it was a great viewing point to look out from. I sat with a few friends from a different group and some people left to go and see some swans it did look like they were trying to fight them but they didn't they did also find a large tree that we have now made our new tree home.
The museum trip was great fun and it had its highs and lows. But I got to hang out with my friends possible make new one ad make fun new memories that I hope I never forget.
